It’s interesting how something seemingly so small can change one’s life.
I did throw away my TV and still don’t have one.

Today I had an experience where I was afraid to speak and, after faltering three times, I remembered the nike ad, reached past my fear and spoke up; and made a difference.
I wouldn’t have done it without those words bostering my courage.

I am going to facebook that experience.

Watching the Monday Night Football pre-game show, I tried to explain to my wife why I was rooting for Detroit. Part of it, of course, is the fact that they’re 4-0 after struggling for so many years. But I’ve had a soft spot for the Lions for awhile now, even though I’m a die-hard Giants fan.

I think it was because of Barry Sanders and this amazing ad. Like so many of you, I tore this out of a magazine and posted it on my wall to remind me to take risks and live a real life. That piece of paper has been lost to time, but the Internet has come through again. Thanks Josh!
