Can someone make it so that a graph like World Progress Report (click here for full screen beauty) with bullet points following arrives in my inbox each week with the news highlights? Although, I’m not sure I’d ever really digest the news, I’d just stare at the beauty of the infoviz.

I’d really like to get my information consumption down to a more manageable (and by manageable I mean easier to digest and pull out the important bits) level and I believe that well-done infovisualization can help that.

Another example (that I plan to talk more about at somepoint, but with a different context) I’ve seen recently involving infoviz to help me digest data, with more fun than news, is the LadyData Project that my ping-pong paddle-building, jacket sewing friend, Clay Parker Jones, has been working on with Undercurrent.
