Felt Camera Case

I would like one of these handmade camera cases (same colors, please) made for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1. It’d require some adjustments of where the opening of the case is and how it works, but I think it’s totally doable. In fact, I may try to make my own!

Who can gain access to three of these for me? Notcot points us to the Muji Ice Ball Maker ($~12). MOMA has something as well, but I think the Muji one seems more reliable. Sometimes the cheaper version will do and in this case, unless Macallan gives me one, I’m keeping the extra money in my pocket.

A Single Man

While I spent the month of December in San Francisco, I was able to carve out a bit of time to see Tom Ford’s A Single Man (along with Fantastic Mr. Fox – both just ooze with style). I loved it (both). Not really a whole lot to say (Roger Ebert has a nice review). My main point to the whole post here is to show the poster which I think is brilliant.

A couple other reference(s) on Tom Ford. Charlie Rose has a great interview with him about the movie. And, lastly, the dude is cool. Just check out the soap on a rope by Tom Ford. And, if you’re the type who likes to read the book before you see the movie (trailer), it’s based on the book, A Single Man!
