I picked up the Mona from Ignoble a while back and wanted to spread the good word about this bag. I’ve taken it on a few weekend trips, a couple 4-5 day trips and an 8-day trip.

It’s been working great for each (varying) trip.

The bag is a medium sized backpack with one main compartment and two external pockets (for pens, tickets, etc). It fits great with adjustable straps and what seems to be a water resistant material (though I have no idea if that’s true).

Anyway, my most recent trip was to the beach for 8 days of sun, paddle boarding and hiking. The Mona held all my essentials perfectly. A run down:

• 2 board shorts
• 8 undies
• Infinite Jest
• iPad
• Van Authentics
• Toiletries
• 8 t-shirts
• 2 button dows
• Hat
• Jeans
• 3 socks

I had room to spare and was able to be mobile as possible – allowing me to take an airline bump on the way home. So, in reality, Mona paid for her next trip.

Anyway, my recommendation is to buy this bag or one of the others from Ignoble. Great for weekend and week-long trips.

Been thinking of a (September) trip to Australia and I think I found the perfect board bag by Alexandra Cassaniti. Now, I just need the flight and surfboard and I’m all set.
