I need to organize a (camping and ice fishing) trip similar to what The Outdoor Club did in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Looks like a helluva lot of fun. Who’s in?

I’m thinking of a winter vacation and ice fishing is pulling out ahead. And, here’s why,

“I mean, you bring a couple steaks with you, couple pizzas, bring what you want to drink, some movies and make it a weekend for 20, 25 bucks,” he said. “Cheap getaway. It’s even better if the fish bite.”

If this doesn’t sound like heaven, I’m not sure what does. Sure, it may be a bit cold, but there’s fleece and hot toddies to take care of that.
