Adam Lisagor sums up my feelings pretty well after watching the first episode (season 4) of Mad Men.

I shake my fist at the gods that I can’t watch the whole season tonight, and all the rest of the seasons tomorrow night.

My reasons are that I never feel like anything happens in one episode. I’m constantly left feeling like, “hmm…nothing really happened there” but when the season is over and I think back to the past episodes I’m like, “shit tons happened”.

Uh, if any of you would like to pool some money for my birthday, I found the most perfect present ever: a tour of the Mad Men set with Christina Hendricks. I’m getting sweaty palms just typing this.

So, it appears Mad Men will only last six seasons. Creator Matt Weiner stated that he could “not see writing or even continuing the series past a sixth season.” Not all that surprising really. The show is currently filming season four with new episodes starting in July.
