Ecco Street Premier Golf Shoes

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

I mentioned Ryan Moore the other day, and did a bit more looking into what clothes he’s wearing. I’m so sick of golfers looking like a Nascar. I was pretty interested in figuring out what shoes he wears, and after a bit of research think that he’s wearing these Ecco Street Premier Golf Shoes. I think golf shoes are very uncomfortable and should look more like sneakers; these do. Think I’ll be buying a pair or two.

Brown Leather Longwing Brogue by Mark McNairy x ACL & Co.

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Are the soles on the Brown Leather Longwing Brogue by Mark McNairy x ACL & Co. orange or red? Description says red, but the picture looks orange. Either way, I think these *could* be the brown brogues I’ve been looking for.

Converse Green All Star Rain Boot

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

For a while I wanted the Tretorn Thule Mid rain boots, but after some sleuthing I could not find them (at a reasonable price). So, now the hunt is on for a new pair. I like these Converse Green All Star Rain Boots ($80), but, would also consider a cheaper pair (HAS to have laces) where I could replace the laces with some orange ones.

Michael Toschi Onda SE Review

Monday, December 7th, 2009

I’ve been spending my winter break in the On the Fly store (One Embarcadero Center, San Francisco, CA). The best part is getting to wear and try all the clothing and gear they stock. Current leader in the clubhouse as my favorite item is the Michael Toschi Onda SE shoe.

I’ve been wearing a pair of these shoes for a bit now and can say that I feel like I’ve been walking on clouds; they are that comfortable. I have the chocolate with red sole and have been wearing them with everything from khaki’s with a loosened tie and blazer to jeans with sweaters. I’m itching to get back to my fully stocked wardrobe where I can wear these with my Caperton Reds.

They seem to be the perfect travel shoe and will likely be making many upcoming trips. Comfortable? Check. Stylish? Check. Versatile? Check.

If you’re in the San Francisco area, be sure to stop by On the Fly to say hello. While you’re in the area stop by the Michael Toschi pop-up shop – both UrbanDaddy and Thrillist have covered the holiday shop.

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

I’ve wanted the Alden Indy boot for a while now, but the Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot is looking like a solid choice for the boot/shoe hybrid I’m after.

Jack Purcell Shoes

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

I’ve always wanted a pair of Converse Jack Purcell shoes, but there’s something too clean and perfect about a new pair of these. I’m wondering if I can just buy these shoes. I love them.

Swims Galoshes

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Thinking I need some Swims, just not sure of the color. I like this white since it’s more neutral, but the orange really gives a pop for those dreary days. (UPDATE: I think I want white, just need to figure out where to buy them).
